- What is the PRINTING United Legislative Fly In?
- The PRINTING United Alliance Legislative Fly-In is an annual signature government affairs invite-only event that puts printing industry leaders in touch with federal policymakers on Capitol Hill. Attendees can anticipate scheduled meetings with the offices of their respective Senators and Representatives, briefings on the latest policy developments, as well as exceptional networking and dining events. The industry advocates that attend will have the opportunity to invite lawmakers to join the Congressional Printing Caucus (if not already a member), welcome them to tour your facility, and discuss key policy issues impacting the printing industry.
- When and where is it being held?
- April 13-14, 2027, The Hilton Washington, DC Capitol Hill
- At the end of registration you will be prompted to select your hotel accommodations. The negotiated PRINTING United Alliance rate is $325 a night, plus taxes and fees.
- Is there a registration fee to attend?
- To be good stewards of PRINTING United Alliance funds, there is a registration fee of $250 to attend the 2027 PRINTING United Legislative Fly-In. The fee is not required to apply, and you will not be asked to pay a fee when completing your application. Registration fees will be collected during the registration process after you have been notified of your acceptance. At the end of registration you will be prompted to select your hotel accommodations.

- Why do I need to apply?
- The Alliance uses an application process to help us meet a variety of strategic priorities and government relations goals. These goals include such things as increasing the number of congressional offices Alliance members meet with during the Fly-In, having Alliance members from states with a concentration of printing facilities participate, and targeting congressional committee members who have jurisdiction over our legislative priorities and/or legislation that is active in Congress.
- What happens after I submit an application?
- You will receive an email from PRINTING United Alliance Government Affairs staff letting you know if you have been accepted to attend the 2027 PRINTING United Legislative Fly-In. The acceptance email will contain instructions on how to register and you will receive specific information on how to book hotel accommodations.
- Are there any requirements to apply to attend?
- Yes. All applicants must be a registered voter with residence in the United States. You must also be a PRINTING United Alliance member in good-standing and serve in a C-suite role.
- What is the dress code?
- Dress code is business attire. A suit is recommended or a sport coat, and we suggest gentlemen bring a tie. Comfortable shoes are highly recommended. For the receptions, business casual is appropriate.
